BVU’s unique cross-disciplinary Corporate Mathematics major exists at the intersection of quantitative business and applied mathematics. The program’s unique integration of business and mathematics coursework nurtures quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills, all of which are highly valued and rewarded by employers in today’s data-driven corporate environment.

Employees with superior proficiency in mathematics are in especially high demand, which is why the corporate mathematics major at BVU is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the myriad of professions that require expertise in quantitative business and applied mathematics. Corporate mathematics majors take courses in technologically superior classroom environments, including “Harvard-style” classrooms in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business and the Mathematics Laboratory in the Estelle Siebens Science Center.

KELLYN ARNOLD, Class of 2013

At BVU, Kellyn majored in corporate mathematics and minored in Spanish and economics. She was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a part of BVU’s Honors Program. After graduating from BVU, Kellyn backpacked across Latin America and went on to earn a master’s degree in epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Leeds in England. Kellyn is currently completing a PhD in statistical epidemiology.
