Students who participate in Accounting Interview Day, hosted by the Iowa College Recruiting Network, have the opportunity to interview a variety of accounting employers in one day, including Big Four firms, regional CPA firms, and corporations. BVU accounting grads work at KPMG, Deloitte, Minnesota Vikings, TD&T CPAs and Advisors, and more.

ALEXIS KELLER
Alexis is the president of the Accounting and Business Association at BVU, In summer 2017, she landed an internship with Linn & Associates in Chicago. While there, Alexis conducted economic research and used the information to develop marketing materials. The following year, Alexis scored another internship in accounting and finance with Lincoln Savings Bank near Cedar Falls, Iowa. To top that, Alexis already has an internship lined up for summer 2019 with Wells Enterprises. At BVU, Alexis has traveled to Costa Rica as part of BVU’s January Interim program, as well as to Chicago and St. Louis with fellow School of Business students.

Hybrid Learning
Hybrid courses combine the benefit of live video instruction with the convenience of online learning. Students meet once weekly via Zoom to engage with instructors and classmates on assignments and coursework. In addition to a weekly class, hybrid students complete their coursework online and receive personalized advisement from local BVU site staff.
