Applied Studies Degree
Bachelor's Degree Program
The bachelor of applied studies program is designed to enable professional advancement and provide personal satisfaction to individuals seeking more advanced positions in leadership. A minimum of 36 credit hours at the 300/400 level from BVU combined with a previously completed program (see below for details) is required. Students electing to complete this degree must satisfy all other requirements for graduation, including courses in intellectual foundations and intellectual explorations. The program is a general undergraduate degree without a traditional academic major. Instead, students are able to structure their programs that meet their individual objectives.

- Minimum of 36 credit hours at the 300/400 level from BVU combined with the previously completed program is required.
- Satisfy all other requirements for graduation, including intellectual foundations and intellectual explorations. These courses may count toward the required 300/400 level courses necessary for the degree.

A “major” is neither completed nor listed on their transcript, only the bachelor of applied studies degree. Therefore, the requirement for hours outside the major/school is eliminated.
