Deb Lenhart has served Buena Vista University for over 16 years. She currently works as the Director of Graduate Programs, helping students achieve their dreams of earning their master’s degree.

She earned her bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University and later earned her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Buena Vista University. She understands what students in BVU’s graduate programs are going through as she has walked in their shoes. “I understand what our students are going through as working adults with many responsibilities in addition to working toward their degree,” she says.

Deb's favorite time of the year at BVU is Commencement, where students are able to celebrate their achievements with their cohort and their families. “It is a wonderful day to celebrate all their accomplishments and hard work. I am very proud of all of our students here at BVU,” she says.
