Tania Toj Lopez
- Senior Admissions Counselor
Tania, a 2020 graduate of BVU, understands how the University can set future Beavers up for success. As a student, the Postville native stayed busy not only triple-majoring in accounting, business, and Spanish but was also working as a Resident Assistant, ensuring her fellow classmates were comfortable and received any support they needed.
“At BVU, I gained more than just an education. My junior year I tried out, and made, the soccer team,” says Tania. “That experience shows how unique BVU is in that there are endless ways to get involved and make the most out of your time as a student.”
Through the Clifford A. Rae Academic Achievement Award, which she was a two-time recipient of, Tania saw first-hand how BVU supports students beyond the classroom. The stipend she received from this award eased the burden of paying for her education as she was able to apply the funds directly to her student loans after graduation.
As a Senior Admissions Counselor, she is excited to continue assisting future students and accommodate them as they begin their journey at BVU. By sharing resources with prospective students and their families, she hopes to show how classmates, faculty, and staff at BVU quickly become like family.
In her free time, you’ll find Tania spending time in the weight room and diving in to her creative side through drawing and painting.
