Betsy Chilton is the Assistant Director of Enrollment for BVU’s Online programs. Betsy started working at BVU in 2023.

Chilton is passionate about working with students from the start of their college search to their graduation. “Helping students find their path and discover what career field is best for them while accommodating to their busy lives brings me so much joy,” says Chilton. 

Chilton graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. Before BVU, she worked for nine years at Morningside University, serving as the Assistant Director of Admissions. “In my time at Morningside, I not only recruited students, but I was able to hire many of them to work in the student ambassador program I supervised. Which allowed me to be a part of their entire college experience, from start to finish. Seeing them cross the finish line at graduation was such a fulfilling moment and I was glad to be even just a small part of that.”

When Chilton is not working, she enjoys reading, puzzling, golfing, running, the local farmer’s market, and spending lots of time with her nieces and nephews. “Family is the most important part of my life, and I’m proud to work for an institution that values balancing work with personal and family lives.”
