Actively involved with the Iowa Communication Association, Dr. Mary Gill has served as president, executive secretary, and journal editor. Leadership is a passion of hers, and Gill has published works in the areas of classroom communication, language, and sexual harassment. Her current interests lie with self-identity, autoethnography as a methodology, and forgiveness.
Gill received her bachelor’s and master’s from South Dakota State University. She also earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
