Gary Sterling joined the Buena Vista University faculty in 2018. He was appointed as the inaugural director of the Lamberti Center for Rural Entrepreneurship in 2019. He is an experienced executive with over thirty years in the medical device industry. Gary has held key management and executive roles at Medtronic and most recently served as CEO of a medical device start-up company. He also worked as a technology strategist at the Institute of Technology Advancement, UCLA, Samueli School of Engineering. Gary serves on the Board of Directors of Alpha Logic and a non-profit humanitarian organization Baja Christian Ministries.He teaches, sharing from his business experiences in a large corporate enterprise and launching two start-up companies, seeking to inspire, educate and empower students to excel in their future business careers.
