Mr. David Hodge

After spending two years as an adjunct instructor in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business, David Hodge is now in his second year in a full-time instructor role. Hodge teaches courses in the Sport Business concentration, as well as business core courses in marketing and a general education business course. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Sport Management program at Troy University.

Prior to his current position, Hodge spent his career in college athletics in various roles. He spent eight seasons as a cross country/track& field coach, including two here at BVU, four years as a sports information director, and two years in campus recreation. His research interests include sport consumer behavior, factors that affect fan attendance, and sport gambling.

A native of Western Pennsylvania, Hodge is an avid follower of the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and the University of Pittsburgh. He also enjoys golfing, kayaking, and reading history books.
