Dr. Casey Baker is a Counselor Educator, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings including private practice, community mental health, and on college campuses. She is a licensed mental health counselor in Iowa. Dr. Baker’s expertise lies in working with families, couples, and children.
Dr. Baker is an active member of counseling organizations, including the American Counseling Association (ACA), Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and the Association for Play Therapy (APT). Baker regularly attends and presents at conferences, workshops and as a guest speaker. She has served on the Iowa Mental Health Counselor Association Board. Dr. Baker’s research interests include family systems, rural parenting, play therapy, and working parents.
