Dr. Breanne Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a completed Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with previous experience teaching and supervising master’s level practicum students. She has a diverse history of clinical and teaching experience that spans 17 years though working as a licensed professional nurse, a mental health technician for the Air Force, and over several years working with veterans at the central Texas VA. Thomas specializes in counseling adults with trauma history, sexual identity and gender identity concerns, depression, and anxiety. She has a private practice near home in which she conducts outpatient mental health care for the community. Thomas is a professionally trained counselor with a master’s and doctoral degree from a CACREP accredited institution and current LPC in Connecticut and Texas. Her expertise in multiple mental health and medical professions makes her an asset to guide and aid student development from students to professional counselors.
