Visiting Artist: Jessie Palczewski

Works by Fine Artist, Jessie Palczewski, are on display in the BVU Art Gallery, located in the Social Sciences and Art Hall. Palczewski is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She attended Black Hills State University, earning her BA in 2003. She graduated in 2006 from the University of North Dakota with her Masters of Fine Arts degree. Her work combines her formal art training with the traditional skills in beadwork and quilting she learned as a child.
Palczewski has work in the permanent collections of the University of North Dakota Art Collections and The North Dakota Museum of Art.
The show will be open through Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. An ACES presentation will be given on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 4-5 p.m. followed by an artist reception from 5-6 p.m.
