For Members of the Media 

The Buena Vista University Office of University Marketing and Communications (UMC) is committed to fostering professional working relationships with the print, broadcast and web media to promote the excellence of the university through the accomplishments and stories of its students, faculty and staff.   In doing so, we distribute official university news releases; prepare ideas for possible stories you may be interested in developing on your own; assist with background information and faculty, staff and student contacts for reporters working on enterprise stories; and help with media coverage of on-campus events.
