Beavers Win Seventh Iowa Conference Tournament

The Buena Vista men’s basketball team won a thrilling 54-52 victory over top-seed Coe College on Saturday night to capture the program’s seventh Iowa Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championships.
With the conference crown, the men’s basketball team gained a bid to the NCAA Division III tournament, where they played Washington University last Friday in St. Louis, Mo., losing 71-59. The team ended its season at 17-11 overall.
