Remembering Bob Willadsen
Bob Willadsen died on March 13, 2017. As a student at Buena Vista College, Bob participated in football and track and would later serve as an assistant football coach. He was inducted into the athletics Hall of Fame in 1972.
Bob Willadsen SL'57 died on March 13, 2017 in Mesa, Ariz. He was 86.
As a student at Buena Vista College, Bob participated in football and track and would later serve as an assistant football coach. He was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 1972. The husband of Beaver softball coach Marge Willadsen, he was a lifelong supporter of Buena Vista athletics.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place Thursday, May 11 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake.
