Buena Vista University
One of the great things about BVU is that you're never too far away from...anything. The lake is right outside your window and downtown is just a few blocks away. But oftentimes you'll probably want to drive to the many local restaurants, movie theatre and/or shops in the area. If you have your own car, there's plenty of parking available on campus. But if you don't have your own set of wheels, that doesn't mean you're destined to stay on campus. Free for all BVU students is the regional transit system RIDES.

All you need to do is pick up the phone and let RIDES know when and where you want to go. Minutes later a friendly shuttle bus driver will pick you up at the Victory Bell and take you to your destination.

With gas prices hovering around $3 per gallon, a free ride isn't a bad idea.
