In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,000 journals and a total of 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. This scholarly collection offers unmatched full text coverage of information in all areas of academic study including area studies, biology, chemistry, ethnic & multicultural studies, general science, geography, law, mathematics, music, physics, psychology, religion & theology, women's studies, and other fields. Each year Choice publishes more than 7,000 authoritative reviews, and all reviews from 1987 to the present are available in the database. Access is limited to three simultaneous users. Gale's Literary Index is a master index to the major print literature series published by The Gale Group. It combines and cross references more than 146,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and more than 193,000 titles into one source. Use this index to locate biographies on authors and critical essays on their writings. For full text, consult print volumes in the library's Reference collection. Gale publications owned by the BVU Library can be located by searching for the source publication title in the library's catalog.

GPO (Government Printing Office) Monthly Catalog covers all types of U.S. government documents, including Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.) Over half a million government documents published from 1976 to the present are included in the database. Some records contain “Access” links that provide the electronic full-text of the government document.
