Family and friends of 2008 BVU graduates who are unable to attend the Commencement ceremony at BVU may wish to view the event live beginning around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2008.
Recordings and Photographs
Professional color photographs of graduates receiving their degree will be taken by a professional photographer and can be purchased at reasonable prices, allowing family members to enjoy the graduation without leaving their seats to take a picture. Because of this, we would appreciate your cooperation in taking your personal photos before and after, but not during, the ceremony. Graduates will receive a passport-sized full-color proof in the mail approximately one week after the ceremony. They will have the option to order several enlargements at reasonable prices; however, there is no obligation to purchase the photos.
A video recording of the 2008 Commencement ceremony may be purchased from the University. You can order a VHS or DVD recording by completing the printable order form located here and sending it to BVU.
Seating and Special Accommodations
There will be reserved seating in the Siebens Fieldhouse for those who need special accommodations. Handicapped parking is located on the north side of the Lamberti Recreation Center, in the parking lot across from Dixon-Eilers on 4th Street, and in the parking area directly behind the J. Leslie Rollins Stadium (football field). See the campus map for areas that are designated for those with special needs.
The Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies will be broadcast to Rooms 1-4, and Anderson Auditorium in the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business/Siebens Forum. These comfortable and air-conditioned locations are convenient areas to view the Commencement ceremonies for those with health concerns, the elderly, and guests who do not have tickets for the Siebens Fieldhouse. See a map of the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business/Siebens Forum.
