About DREAMS

The DREAMS project is funded by a $5,000 Campus Action Project (CAP) grant awarded to the Storm Lake branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) as part of the AAUW’s "Breaking Barriers for Women in Science" program. The team was one of 11 selected from around the United States to implement projects based on recommendations from AAUW's 2010 research report, "Why So Few? Women and Girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics." Read More about Dreams

April 9 Labs: Math and Chemistry

Students were guided through a hands-on math exercise involving spacial orientation applications. Later, they made cool anodized aluminum necklaces during the chemistry lab.
