BVU faculty, staff, students (new and returning) gathers to celebrate the start of the new academic year!

8:00 p.m. - Johnny Holm Band - Middle Campus
Join current students and Alumni along with faculty and staff at this BVU fall tradition. Johnny and the band play a wide variety of music from all genres – you will not be disappointed! Organized and hosted by SAB (Student Activities Board)

Thursday, August 30

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. - The Plunge - Grand Foyer of the Forum
Another SAB event! The plunge gives students the opportunity to check out all the student organizations and opportunities BVU has to offer for involvement and leadership opportunities. Businesses and non-profit organizations from Storm Lake will also be there so you can learn more about our local community. Get information about banking, haircuts, shopping, places of worship, and opportunities to volunteer in the community.

Come cheer on the team in their season opener vs. MacMurray College, IL

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. - Welcome Back Grocery BINGO!
Dows Grand Ballroom Come stock your refrigerator with grocery BINGO, sponsored by SAB (Student Activities Board). $500.00 worth of grocery prizes will be given away to students.
