8 a.m. - Breakfast – Dows Grand Ballroom 
Meet your University Seminar group for breakfast as you prepare for the day.

9 a.m. - University Seminar Footprint Project – Assigned Classroom
Our planet is endangered by global warming, overconsumption, pollution, hazardous wastes, etc. In your University Seminar groups, come up with one practical idea we might commit to on campus that reduces our negative impact (our "footprint") in the community of Storm Lake!  Find a clever way for your group to present your one practical idea to BVU and city administrators on Sunday night.  The University Seminar group with the winning project will receive a cash prize!

11 a.m. - Student Affairs Panel & Beavers Creed Introduction – Anderson Auditorium
Learn about the many services that are available to students and get your questions answered about resources like Civic Engagement, Recreation Services, Campus Ministry, Counseling Services, Career Services, Campus Security and more.  Then hear from Student Senate about another BVU tradition-the signing of the Beaver's Creed pledge.  You will have the opportunity to commit to your adherence to the standards of the BVU community as defined by Student Senate and as outlined in the Beaver's Creed.

12:15 p.m. - Lunch – Dows Grand Ballroom
Enjoy lunch through the servery with your University Seminar group and others on campus.

1 p.m. - University Seminar Footprint Project – Assigned Classroom
Meet with your University Seminar group to continue work on your project.

2:30 p.m. - Classroom Location Tour
Bring along your class schedule and a member of the O-Team will take you around campus as you learn where your classrooms are located before you begin classes on Monday.

3:30 p.m. - The Beaver Games – Scout Park
It’s time to see which seminar group shines in volleyball, relays, yard games and other friendly competition. (Rain location is Lamberti Rec Center)

6 p.m. - Dinner/Free Time – Dows Grand Ballroom
Quench your appetite after a day of academic and athletic fun as you join your University Seminar group for dinner and conversation.  Then take advantage of some free time to finish setting up and decorating your room, hang out with your roommate and other new friends or just relax.  The Lamberti Recreation Center will be open for anyone interested in recreational activities as well.

8 p.m. – Comedy Sportz - Anderson Auditorium
Buena Vista University's own improv group will warm up the stage for our feature act, Comedy Sportz, a lively improvisation show from Minneapolis.  Audience participation is encouraged. 

9:30 p.m. - Outdoor Movie – Outside Smith Hall and the Underground
Bring your blanket and have a seat on the Forum Lawn and enjoy an outdoor movie. Snacks and games will also be available in the Underground.  This year's movie is Maleficent.
