Using the Faculty Calendar
The calendar is a convenient way to alert all students enrolled in your course of events and meetings. To access the calendar go to the Calendar tab. The default view is a monthly calendar grid. You can change this view with the links on the upper right hand corner.
How do I add an event?
To add an event, you can select a date in the calendar, or select Add in the upper left corner below the Calendar Icon.
From here you can:
- give a title to your event
- decide who it is available to
- select a category out of a drop-down list
- and many other options.
How do I have my event repeat?
To set up a recurrence, select Recurrence at the bottom of the event's page. From here you can have the event repeat every day, week, month or year.
How do I look at my event?
Your event will be on the course calendar under the Calendar tab. If you click on the event’s title, a separate page will come up with further information about the event. To edit or delete the event, you can mouse over and see a list of options, or select the event and edit it from there.
