Doubles Room Draw
Individuals choosing to live in a designated single on campus should attend the singles/double room selection process on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Dows Conference Center. The process will begin at 6pm and should conclude by 9pm. The process starts from the highest to lowest calculated point totals until all point groups have been called. Double rooms are available in all residence halls. However, double room availability, size, and furnishings vary in each residence hall. Individuals currently living in double rooms will not be given additional priority in selection.
Roommate pairs should sign up together during the earliest appropriate time slot for either individual; room selection is based on individuals with the highest to lowest calculated point totals. If you do not sign up with a roommate, you will not be allowed to select an empty double-occupancy room. You will have the option to sign up for single room at the cost of a single room OR you will be placed on a list and assigned a current BVU student as a roommate for the upcoming year. As is the case every year, we anticipate all spaces will be filled, thus every student not living in a designed single will have a roommate(s). Self-selection of your roommate is highly encouraged.
Any individual (with the exception of any incoming first-year or transfer student) who does not participate in the Room Draw process by the completion of Singles and Doubles Room Draw on Sunday, April 24, 2016 needs to contact the Director of Residence Life as soon as possible to request housing for Fall 2016.
