Phishing Scams
A phishing attempt was reported on January 29th, 2013. The message was from an account identifying itself as "Webmail Support." It was sent on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 at 12:46 AM. The subject line of this message reads "Webmail Upgrade." Among the items requested by the sender included multiple e-mail addresses, a date of birth, and a password. If you have received this e-mail, please delete it.
Note that your BVU 2FIX Service Desk will never ask for your password through email. Any requests to do so should be ignored.
If you think you may have submitted your password information, please contact us immediately. We will assist you with changing your password.
