Graduating Students - Purchasing Information
Important dates
Friday May 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.: You must turn in your iPad and Computer by this date or you may be charged a late fee of $10.00 per day.
Transferring my data
We can help you with the transfer of your data from your BVU computer to another computer or external device. Just stop by the desk and drop off your BVU computer and another device for transferring data, we will do the transfer for you (allow up to 3 hours to complete the transfer).
You will keep your @bvu.edu email address for 1 year from the date of graduation.
Purchasing Equipment
| HP Laptop | $250 – Warranty until June 2014 (must contact HP directly, 800-334-5144) |
| iPad2 | $400– no warranty |
| MacBook | $250 – 1 year of Apple Care (provided you have paid the upcharge at the beginning of the year) |
The deadline for purchasing your laptop and/or iPad is May 15, 2013. If you choose to purchase your equipment you will need to pay for them at the Business Office prior to turning in your equipment and bring the receipt with when you check out by Friday, May 24, 2013.
Per BVU's license agreement, we will need to remove some of the software currently installed on the laptop. Therefore, you will still need to bring your laptop to the helpdesk in order for us to complete that.
