Welcome to the Buena Vista Family Association. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of parents and family members of current students. We know your goal is our goal — a graduate equipped with the benefits of an excellent liberal arts education, infused with strong values and prepared to live and work in today's global society.
Active and knowledgeable parents enhance their own student's experience and personal success, and share in the tradition of excellence and distinction at BVU. Our promise is to provide information, access and opportunities for involvement
Our electronic newsletter B.I.T.S (Buford's Information To Share) provides highlights and profiles, insight and information that will keep you connected to BVU regardless of your location. We will keep you informed of the many opportunities for involvement through attendance at BVU sponsored events. Our new-student June Orientation program offers you the opportunity to meet and network with each other, with our faculty and administrators, and with other wonderful students. In the spring our annual Family Weekend, Scholars Day celebration, student recognition program and other celebrations of students success provide great opportunities for meeting, greeting our students, faculty, administration and staff.
We hope that you will find some time to become familiar with this website; it is a primary resource for helpful information. Please know that you are welcome on campus anytime to attend special lectures, performances or athletic events. You don't need an excuse to visit. You are a part of BVU. We also invite you to follow us on Facebook by liking us at BVU Family Association.

We could not be happier with our son’s decision to attend Buena Vista University. Not only is Izaak receiving an education that will equip him for his future career, but he is surrounded by a community of people who truly care about him.
