North Island

Buford visits Red Bull Headquarters
Buford traveled to Santa Monica, California with David Klee SL'04 and had a chance to visit the North American Headquarters for Red Bull.  See photos.

Traveling in West Virginia
Buford traveled with Tammy Monk SL'77 through West Virginia, and there were many sights to see. They traveled through Fayetteville, driving over the New River Gorge Bridge - 876 feet high! They also visited the state capital in Charleston and stayed at the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs. See photos.

During November Buford traveled to Tucson, Arizona with Nina (Nielsen) New SL'03.  They visited the desert and then spent some time at the zoo! See photos.

Afghanistan with Chaplain Cory Germain, SL'94.
Buford is currently touring Afghanistan with CH(CPT) Cory Germain SL'94, 419th Movement Control Battalion at Bagram Airfield.  There are pictures from several locations including Forward Operating Base Stone and Spin Buldak. See photos.

Hawaii!
Buford traveled to Hawaii with Lori SchraderBachar SL'94 and her family in August.  They visited many sites including: Ko Olina, Chinaman's Hat, Dole Plantation, and Hickam Air Force Base.  See photos.

Iowa State Fair
The Buena Vista Beaver visited the Iowa State Fair in August 2010. The visit included butter sculpture, fun rides and some fair food that was probably not healthy, but definitely delicious. See photos.

Buford visits Baltimore and Gettysburg
Buford traveled to Baltimore and Gettysburg with Lori SchraderBachar SL'94. On the trip, he took in historical sights and ate great food. See photos.

Exploring the Black Hills
The Beaver went on a family vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota with Kara SL'97 and Ryan Harder SL'99. Together, they explored national parks, monuments and tourist destinations. See photos.

RAGBRAI Adventure!
Buford traveled across the state of Iowa during RAGBRAI 2010 with several BVU alumni & friends!  He started in Sioux City and stopped in many towns across the state ending at the mighty Mississippi in Dubuque!   See photos.

Beaver in Cozumel
Our yellow Beaver friend accompanied Scott McNamar SL'88 on a trip to Cozumel, off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. They enjoyed good times on the beach, lounging by the pool and enjoying the scenery. See photos.

Table Rock Lake
At the last alumni event in Des Moines, Matt Sly SL'06 was given a stuffed beaver to take on vacation to Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Our Beaver friend had a great time not only on the lake, but also during a trip to Branson! See photos.
