Students of Buena Vista University, who engage in the unlawful manufacture, possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs, or provide controlled substances to others, will be subject to disciplinary sanctions by the University as well as any criminal penalties which might be levied by the courts. Students of Buena Vista University who possess or consume alcohol while not of legal age, or who provide alcohol to minors in violation of national or Iowa state law, or who are or appear to be under the influence of alcohol in any public area of the campus, will be subject to disciplinary sanctions by the University.
