This application process refers to students applying to be first-year students on our Storm Lake campus. For other students, please refer to the links to the left below.

Apply to BVU

Complete the application online or mail to: Office of Admissions, Buena Vista University, 610 W. Fourth Street, Storm Lake, Iowa 50588.

What you'll need:

High School and College Transcript

Have your high school send an official secondary school transcript to the Office of Admissions. If you have taken college classes during high school please send those transcripts also.

Admission Test Results

Submit your American College Test (ACT) results or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) results to the Office of Admissions, unless they are already listed on your transcript.

Financial Aid Materials

To be considered for financial assistance, submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after January 1 as you can. Forms are in your high school or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. BVU's federal school code is: 001847.
