Women's Tennis Falls to Dutch 9-0

The Buena Vista women's tennis team returned the courts on Tuesday afternoon, and the Beavers were handed a tough 9-0 Iowa Conference setback against Central College in Fort Dodge.

Central got things started by winning all three doubles matches, including two by narrow 8-5 margins. The Dutch (6-1, 3- IIAC) then continued with their strong play, winning all six singles contests in straight sets.

Buena Vista is now 2-4 overall (1-2 IIAC) and will return home on Saturday for a pair of matches, beginning with a 9:00am IIAC match-up with Loras College. The Beavers will then face Bethany Lutheran College at 3:30pm.
