


About Turissa: Born 10/10/90...is the daughter of Mark and Shelley Moreland.
High School Highlights: Was a three-time letterwinner and a team captain for the Monarchs. She earned the Monarch Award her final two seasons, as well as the Co-Defender Award. In addition to soccer, she was a letterwinner in bowling as a junior and senior.
College Highlights: Played in just more than 500 minutes as a keeper during her freshman season in 2009, while also posting 72 saves. As a sophomore, Turissa appeared in eight games for the Beavers making three starts in-goal. She tallied 34 saves on the year. It was a career year for Moreland in 2011, where she picked up her first career victory and shutout against Martin Luther. She posted 91 saves on the year, including 11 at Wartburg in the second-to-last match of the year. She also matched a school record with seven shutouts and set a school record for fewest goals allowed in a single season. Aside from playing soccer, she has also been involved in various volunteer activities on campus, including AWOL and Buenafication Day.
