Senior Kylie Hammer turned in a round of 81 on Saturday and finished fourth overall to highlight the Buena Vista women's golf team as it closed out the 2011 Iowa Conference Women's Golf Championships.

Hammer's round was the third-lowest in the field over the final 18 holes and she finished four strokes in front of Simpson's Stacy Bergeson, who had turned in Friday's low round of 80 to climb her way up the leaderboard from 19th into fifth.  Hammer earns all-conference accolades for the second straight year after taking seventh in 2010.  She is the first repeat all-conference performer for the Beavers since Jennifer Stork was a three-time performer from 2004-2006.

Aside from Hammer, fellow senior Kylie Woodley carded a final round 96 and placed 21st, while senior Lauren Doherty tied for 23rd after a round of 91.

Arinda Abbuhl and Kassie King round out the line-up for the Beavers with 29th and 40th place finishes, respectively.

Buena Vista totaled a score of 1,447 and was seven shots behind Loras College after the two teams entered Saturday's final round tied for fifth.

Central College's Sarah Paulson earned individual medalist honors for the third time in the last four years, carding a 78 on Saturday to win by 12 strokes over Wartburg's Paige Klostermann.  The Knights, however, did take the team title by 31 strokes over the Dutch.
