Beavers Land 29 Student-Athletes on Fall All-IIAC Academic Team

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) announced its 2011-12 Fall All-IIAC Academic Team, and 29 student-athletes for the Beavers were among the 324 from across the league to be selected.

To be eligible for IIAC All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must compete at the varsity level, be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have at least one year in residence at their current institution, and attain a 3.5 or better grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

The total for BVU was the sixth-highest among the league schools and was also its highest since having 28 on the team back in 2007.  Luther College (59) had the most individuals represented.
