Women's Golf in Eighth at Midway Point of IIAC Championships

Thirty-six holes of the 2012 Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) Women's Golf Championships are in the book, and the Buena Vista women sit in eighth place overall after a second round total of 365. Zander Ties for Seventh during Palace City Classic

Sophomore Jasey Zander (Madrid, Iowa/West Central Valley) fired a career-best 81 on Friday to begin play at the Palace City Classic before finishing with a 90 on Saturday, but she still finished in a tie for seventh to help lead the Buena Vista women’s golf team throughout the 36-hole event.
