


About Heather: Born 9/19/90...is the daughter of Doug and Beth Hansman.
High School Highlights: Was a three-time letterwinner in basketball. As a junior, she was named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference team. As a senior, she was a First Team All-Conference, Honorable Mention All-Area, and a Carrol Radio Station "Dream Team" selection. She also served as a team captain and set the school's single-season rebounding record with 244. In addition to basketball, she also earned letters in volleyball (1), track (4), and softball (2). As a senior in volleyball, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors, while qualifying for the state track meet in 2007. During her career on the diamond, she was a three-time all-conference selection, including Second Team honors as both a junior and senior. Aside from athletics, she was listed on the Honor Roll, received numerous scholarships, and was the school's recipient of the Bernie Saggau Award.
College Highlights: Heather saw most of her playing time with the junior varsity team as a freshman in 2010-11. She did see limited time off the bench, appearing in 15 games and averaging nearly 5.5 minutes per game. She made her collegiate debut in the season-opener against Nebraska Wesleyan on November 16. As a sophomore, she came off the bench in 12 games and played a career-high 21 minutes during the team’s win against Crown College on December 3. In that contest, she scored a career-high six points and grabbed a career-best eight rebounds. She also earned her first varsity letter that season.
Aside from her time playing basketball, she has also volunteered for numerous campus organizations/events, including P.I.E (2009), Hospital Clean-up (2012), Chills and Trills (2009). She's also assisted with basketball campus for three years and has taken part in Jump-In-and-Run (2010, 2012).
