#1 Katie Larsen

About Katie: Born 4/18/92...is the daughter of Trevor Yale and Lind Larsen...has one brother, Tyler Yale, as well as one sister, Kaylie Yale.

High School Highlights: Was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball for the Rams where she served as a team captain her senior season.

In addition to volleyball, she also lettered four years in track and field where she served as team captain as a senior. She's the school record holder in the 1500 meter run and was a state qualifier in the 4x800 meter run as a sophomore, junior, and senior. She also received the the George Peterson Award in 2009-10.

Aside from athletics, she was both Academic All-Conference and Academic All-State in track and field.

College Highlights: Has played primarily on the junior varsity team during her first two seasons. Did see varsity action in three matches as a sophomore and posted four digs, defensively. Aside from playing, she has also helped coach a Storm Lake AAU volleyball team.
