



After falling in the opening set on Friday night at Mt. Marty, the Buena Vista volleyball team stormed back to take the second, but it was the Lancers prevailing 25-17 and 25-23 in the final two to get past the Beavers, 3-1.
Sophomore Kirsten Van Zuiden led BVU with 11 kills on the night, as Jena Peters was next with six. As a team, the Beavers finished with 25.
Courtney Van Haaften dished out 21 assists and also had four digs, while Ashley Lage tallied a career-high 11 assists. Jordan Henningsen recorded a team-high 11 digs, while no other player had more than five.
BVU is now 4-14 overall and will return home to play host to Wartburg College on Tuesday, October 2 at 7:30pm.
