Men's Tennis to Open Spring Schedule on Saturday

The Buena Vista men's tennis team is set to open its 2012 spring schedule on Saturday morning, February 4, with a home Iowa Conference match against Loras College beginning at 9:00am inside of the Lamberti Recreation Center.

The Beavers will take the courts at 1-1 overall after splitting a pair of non-conference matches back during its fall schedule.  The team fell 9-0 to Central College in its fall opener before topping Grand View University by that same score to wrap up the slate.

BVU is looking to make it two straight wins over the Duhawks after posting a thrilling 5-4 triumph last year.  That win marked the first victory over Loras since 1999.

Tomorrow's match is the first of seven straight home matches to begin the spring season.
