Men's Tennis Victorious in Home Opener

The Buena Vista men's tennis team returned to the courts on Wednesday afternoon and evened its season record at 1-1 with a commanding 9-0 victory over visiting Grand View University inside of the Lamberti Recreation Center.

Adam Gustad and Jason Ehrhardt picked up an 8-2 win in their number one doubles match, while Mike Sporer and Cole Renken won 8-1 in the number two slot.  Keifer Nevius and Christian Price then won by default in the final doubles slot.

BVU then cruised in singles play, winning each match in straight sets, while allowing just two total points in the six matches. 

The match concludes the fall season for the Beavers.  The team will begin its spring schedule on February 4th when it hosts Loras College at 9:00am.
