About Eric: Is the son of Etienne and Eliane...has two brothers, Emile Shema and Serge Mihigo, as well as two sisters, Jocelyne Ujeneza and Samantha Uwonkunda.
High School Highlights: Played for coach Micah Brownstein and was a team captain in 2007-08. In addition to soccer, he also served as team captain in volleyball (2007-08).
College Highlights: As a sophomore in 2009, Eric started 16 of the 17 games in which he appeared in and ranked third on the team with 18 total shots. Last season as a junior, he again started 16 of the 17 games he played in and finished with four goals and one assist. His first career goal came at Central College before he later added a pair of goals versus Simpson College. Following the season, he was honored by the team as MVP.
