Greg Hiemstra

About Greg: Born 5/11/90...is the son of Rod and Jeanette...has two sisters, Jessica and Becky.

High School Highlights: Played for coach Rick Braby and was a four-time letterwinner, while receiving all-conference accolades as both a junior and senior. In addition to golf, he also lettered four years in baseball and was a Second Team all-conference selection as a junior and senior. He lettered three times in basketball, while earning Second Team All-Siouxland Conference honors as a senior, and lettered twice in football where he was an Honorable Mention All-District quarterback as a senior. Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll all four years, was a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Leadership Team.

College Highlights: In his first year, Greg competed in eight events for the blue and gold and fired a season-low round of 77. In 2010-11, he golfed in five events and again matched his career-best round of 77 during the Iowa Lakes Fall Invite. As a junior in 2011-12, he again competed in five events and shot a low round of 80 for the year.
