About Kyle: Born 11/28/90...is the son of Dick Auffert...has two brothers, Seth and Lance, as well as three sisters, Jessica, Blair, and Bailley.

High School Highlights: Played for coach Andrew Almelicn and was a four-year letterwinner for the Cardinals and a First Team All-Conference selection in 2009. In addition to golf, he was a four-time letterwinner in wrestling. Aside from athletics, he graduated with Highest Honors.

College Highlights: He took part in eight events for the blue and gold during his first season, while firing a season-best round of 74 during the Iowa Lakes Spring Invite and tying for 14th overall. As a sophomore in 2010-11, he led the Beavers with an 80.1 scoring average covering 22 rounds of play. He shot a career-low 72 on the final day of the BVU Spring Invite, while tying for 7th overall. A week later, he went on to earn All-IIAC accolades for the first time after placing eighth at the IIAC Championships. He finished the year with a pair of 10-five finishes and four top-10 performances. He turned in another solid season as a junior in 2011-12, finishing third on the team in scoring average (81.0). For the year, he took part in nine events and tallied a top-10 overall finish when he tied for 10th during the Ryerson Fall Classic. His low round of 76 came during the third round of the IIAC Championships where he tied for 16th. Kyle is also a two-time Academic All-Conference selection.
