First Round of IIAC Men's Golf Championships Suspended

Due to lightning, downpours, and darkness, the first round of the 2012 IIAC Men's Golf Championships at Bos Landen Golf Club has been suspended.

Six golfers were unable to complete their opening round of play before play was called for the day.  Those individuals will attempt to wrap up their round beginning at 7:30am on Saturday.  The second round is scheduled to tee-off at 9:00am, weather permitting.

Senior Mitch Brunick is tied for the clubhouse lead to highlight the day for BVU.  He's tied with Central's Matt Vegter after each posted rounds of 9-over 80. They lead Wartburg's Lance Johnson by one stroke.  Kyle Auffert and Jaron Smool are each tied for ninth for the Beavers.  Auffert was the team's top finisher in 2011 after placing eighth.

Team scores for the first round are unavailable due to the round still being incomplete.
