About James: Born 10/4/93...is the son of Rick and Joanne Shelman...has one brother, Nick, as well as two sisters, Kristina and Jennifer...his sister Jennifer is running track at Carthage University.
High School Highlights: He was a two-year letterwinner on the court and on the gridiron for the Spartans and was a member of the 2010 and 2011 state champion football teams. Aside from athletics, he graduated with honors and was a three-time Academic All-District selection in football, while earning the honors twice in basketball.
