About Michael: Born 3/11/91...Mike is the son of Dennis and Jill Wiegmann. He has one sister, Ranae.
High School Highlights: While playing for the Falcons, Mike earned All-Districts in football two years and First team All-State Offense & Defense. He was named the senior leader and the hardest worker. Besides lettering four years in football, Wiegmann also lettered in basketball, track and baseball.
College Highlights: As a freshman, Wiegmann started all 10 games for the Beavers at center and helped protect an offensive unit that put together 3,100 total yards. Following the year, he was voted by his teammates as the Newcomer of the Year. Michael again started all 10 games for the Beavers as a sophomore in 2010 and anchored an offensive line that blocked for over 2,700 yards of total offense and 23 touchdowns. As a junior in 2011, he started all eight of the games he played in and was a key part for an offense which gained more than 2,900 yards of total offense, including 1,100 yards on the ground. Following the year, he was named a Second Team All-Conference selection. He was voted as a team captain for the 2012 season.
