High School Highlights: Was a three-time letterwinner for the Lynx where earned all-conference honors as both a junior and senior, by placing 10th in 2010 and fourth in 2011. He was also a 3A state qualifier as a senior. In addition to cross country, he also lettered three times in track and field. Aside from athletics, he ranked 10th in his graduating class in GPA and received the Cessna Scholarship Award.
