About Alexa: Born 11/8/93...is the daughter of Trevis and Laura...her dad ran track and her mom played softball at Wayne State College...has one brother.

High School Highlights: She was a four-time letterwinner in cross country for the Monarchs and placed 12th at the state meet in 2010. She was named her team's Co-MVP as a senior. In addition to cross country, she was a four-year letterwinner in track, placing sixth at state in the 400 meter dash as both a freshman and sophomore and eighth as a junior. In the 800 meter dash, she placed eighth at state as both a freshman and senior. She also lettered four times in softball, earning First Team All-Hawkeye 10 honors, First Team All-Western Iowa accolades, as well as Honorable Mention All-State recognition.
