College Highlights: Alex appeared in five games off the bench for the Beavers as a freshman in 2010. He made his collegiate debut at Nebraska Wesleyan on March 22, in game two of a doubleheader and went 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored. As a sophomore, he made his first collegiate start against nationally ranked Eastern Connecticut State on March 25 and picked up the first double of his career. Just days later, on March 28, he posted a career-best three hits against Bethany Lutheran. Last season as a junior, he appeared in 13 games, including a start against Nebraska Wesleyan where he went 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. In addition, Alex is also a two-time Academic All-IIAC performer.
