A Message From Coach Eddie

re

Thank you for taking an interest in Buena Vista University and our baseball program. Buena Vista is proud of its 15 Iowa Conference Baseball Championships, but we are even more concerned with the success of our graduates. We understand that winning is important, but also realize that the athletic careers of most end upon graduation day.

It is my goal that when our student-athletes graduate, they leave the program with a recollection of positive memories, a great relationship with their coaches, lifelong friendships with their teammates, and respect of everyone that they played against and in front of.

As a program, we talk a lot about avoiding shortcuts. Championship programs do not take short-cuts, and people that are successful in life, do not take shortcuts. I would like to encourage those that are considering Buena Vista to have the same mentality. Do not look for shortcuts in something as valuable as your education.
