RSS is a form of Web syndication that allows BVU Athletics headlines to be delivered directly to your computer without using e-mail or a web browser. RSS stands for "really simple syndication" and delivers information to your computer in using an XML file (a generic data format) called an "RSS feed" or "RSS channel."
To take advantage of an RSS feed, you must have an RSS reader on your computer. Most RSS readers, like Feedreader (BVU's supported reader, available for download at www.feedreader.com) are free and can be easily installed. You can also browse RSS feeds using special plugins for your web browser or through search engines like Google.
To subscribe to BVU's Athletics RSS feed, copy this URL and paste it into your reader's "subscribe" window:
http://www2.bvu.edu/athletics/rss/rssmain.xml
Once you've subscribed, your RSS reader will automatically download and display BVU Athletic headlines. You can also use RSS feeds to subscribe to our weekly Athletics podcast.
